We're looking for product folk to scale our product team and evolve our global design platform with customers front and centre. There’s an MVP approach and you’ll need empathy and the ability to define complex problem spaces and find creative solutions, no matter how “out there” they are. Approaching things differently, creatively, and in unpredictable ways are the norm here.

So what’s the role about I hear you ask?
You’ll be joining amazing product folk with an ambitious platform vision - think product teams starting the day with a product idea, shipping it to customers by lunchtime and being able to validate it before finishing up for the day. While this is not quite yet reality, you’ll be part of the team developing the strategy and capabilities to bring this vision to life. Ultimately you’ll be adding value to 99designs creators and clients by adding value to the many product delivery teams at 99designs.
Which brings me to your part in this...you’ll be working in complex problem spaces that will influence both design systems and software delivery systems at 99designs. Why? To enable the business to improve quality, consistency and speed of delivery and to create a beautiful and seamless user experience.

You're a curious human that has a passion for diving head first into a technical domain and you have no fear! You’re a broad thinker with the ability to look at varied problems spaces through different lenses. This role spans across the entire 99designs’ business, so you can be super effective at enabling multiple people and teams. So it's a position with real impact.
Which brings me to my next point, stakeholder engagement is your superpower! You’re a good human that is able to have conversations and not drive your own agenda and you’re open to other people’s perspectives. As this role cuts across all groups and squads, working with people, forming relationships, understanding different priorities and helping teams to realise highest value priorities comes natural to you.
You understand that everyone wants things done and can make tradeoffs while staying on top of your backlog and key initiatives. You’re great at letting people know what’s going on and have the ability to stay focused where the most value is to be gained. You are the master of balancing competing needs, you can balance design, technology, and business while keeping in mind the often conflicting needs of the creator community and clients.
